FreeSlide is built on a no-account principle: we do not ask you to sign up, and we do not collect your name, email, or payment information. This policy explains the limited data we handle when you generate a slide deck.
What we collect
Each time you click Generate, we process one request containing:
- A hashed IP address — used only to enforce rate limits and deter abuse.
- Your prompt text — the topic or instructions you type, used to generate the deck and monitor quality.
- Generated deck metadata — status, latency, and output format details used for operational monitoring.
- Timestamp — used for rate-limit windows and reliability checks.
What we do not collect
- Name, email, account profile, or payment information
- Device fingerprints or cross-site tracking identifiers
- Private files from your computer unless you explicitly upload them
Third-party services
AI providers process your prompt to create the slide content. Their policies govern their handling of inference requests.
Cloudflare Turnstile helps verify that generation requests come from humans.
Plausible Analytics records aggregate traffic stats without cookies or personal profiles.
Google AdSense may serve ads and use cookies or similar technologies. You can manage preferences in Google ad settings.
Data retention
Operational generation records are retained for up to 90 days, then deleted or reduced to aggregate metrics.
Your rights
Because we do not maintain accounts, we cannot reliably look up individual anonymous requests. For privacy questions, contact hello@freeslide.app.
Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. The last-updated date above will reflect any revision.
